Cookie policy
Effective October 4, 2026
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies qovant.ai uses, what they're for and how you can choose which ones to accept. How we handle your data in general is covered in our Privacy policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits. Other technologies, such as the browser's local storage (localStorage), work in a similar way. In this policy we call all of them "cookies".
2. What we use today
Today qovant.ai only uses what it needs to work: it doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies.
| Name | Type | What it's for | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| qovant-consent | Necessary · local storage | Remembers your cookie choice so we don't ask you again. | 12 months |
The website chat doesn't use cookies: the conversation only lasts while the page is open.
3. Types of cookies and your permission
- Necessary: make the site work and remember your choice. They're always on, because the site doesn't work properly without them.
- Analytics: would help us understand, with aggregated data, how the site is used (for example, with Google Analytics). They only turn on if you accept them.
- Marketing: would let us measure our campaigns and show you relevant ads on other platforms (for example, the Meta pixel or Google Ads). They only turn on if you accept them.
If we add analytics or marketing tools, we'll list their name, provider and duration in the table above, and they'll only load with your permission.
4. Third-party services
- Google Fonts: the site's typefaces load from Google's servers, which receive your IP address to deliver them. They don't set cookies.
- WhatsApp and scheduling: when you click these buttons you move to the provider's site (Meta or the scheduling service), which uses its own cookies under its own policy.
- AI chat agent: doesn't set cookies; how messages are handled is explained in the Privacy policy.
5. How to change your choice
- With the "Cookie settings" button at the bottom of every page, or right here.
- In your browser settings, where you can block or delete cookies and site data. If you delete them, we'll ask you again.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as a refusal of optional cookies.
6. Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy whenever the cookies we use change, and publish the current version here with its date.
